What to Expect
Starting therapy can feel like a lot. Here's how it actually unfolds.
01
The consultation
A free 20-minute video call. You share what brought you here. I share how I'd approach it. Together we decide if it feels like the right fit — no pressure either way.
02
Intake session
Our first full session is a longer, more comprehensive conversation. We map your history, your current life, and what you'd like to be different — without demanding you tell everything at once.
03
The working phase
Weekly or biweekly 50-minute sessions. We move at the pace of your nervous system, integrate somatic and evidence-based tools, and build sustainable micro-habits between sessions.
04
Integration & closure
Therapy is not forever. We periodically zoom out — what's shifted, what's still tender, what's ready to be lived without me in the loop.
A few things worth knowing
- · You don't need to have "everything figured out" before the first session.
- · You won't be handed generic worksheets. Every plan is built for you.
- · I'll ask about your body as often as I ask about your thoughts.
- · You can bring your fatigue, your ambivalence, and your questions.
- · Progress will feel small before it feels big. That's how it works.
